I’m an all-purpose math education entrepreneur living and working in New York City. I teach high school calculus, run staff development for math teachers, privately tutor, and lead workshops and classes outside of the school day aimed at making math exciting and empowering, especially for people who haven’t always seen it that way.
I read a lot about math education and am starting this blog to help me process what I’m reading so it can inform my practice. Every week I’ll write up a summary of / reflection on a piece of research or pedagogical book or article. My hope is that it’ll be useful to other teachers too.
